About our operations

Iris Education conducts adult education on behalf of Malmö City, focusing on individuals with visual or hearing impairments, including the deaf and blind. We offer SFI as well as basic and upper secondary courses.

Our goal is to create the best possible conditions for our students as they prepare for the next step in life. Our operations are characterized by high quality, great flexibility, and complete individual adaptation. We are a small but experienced organization with centrally located facilities in Malmö.

About the role

We are looking for a certified teacher for our sign language SFI group in Malmö. You will teach adult students Swedish for immigrants and work with a focus on meeting each individual's needs. The work takes place on-site in our facilities on Studentgatan in central Malmö.

Your profile

You are a certified teacher and have experience or interest in teaching within SFI. You have good knowledge of sign language and thrive in an inclusive environment where you make a real difference for your students. You need to have good skills in the Office suite to create adapted materials and good computer skills for administration and work in our learning platform. Great importance is placed on digital competence as an important part of the role, as planning and administration take place in various digital systems and teaching materials are published in our learning platform.

You are flexible, collaborative, and thrive in an organization that is constantly evolving. You have a strong commitment to motivating others and work with the organization's goals in focus.
