Designgymnasiet in Malmö was established in 2021 and offers vocational and university preparatory programs within the Arts program, the Technology program, and the Design and Sewing Technology program with the following specializations: interior design, graphic design, fashion design, textile design, product design, as well as architecture and design. The school has approximately 230 students and 19 employees. We are now looking for a special educator to join our operations.

Your Assignment and Profile

We are looking for a design-interested special educator who wants to contribute to developing our school with strong engagement and trust in our colleagues and students at Designgymnasiet in Malmö. As a person, you are a team player and a good relationship builder. You are creative in your thinking and at the same time a good organizer with the ability to create structure in the operations. You leverage and develop our employees' competencies to jointly create the best possible conditions for our students. With us, you are an important part of our school's success as we move to Malmö Creative Campus in the summer of 2026.

We expect you to have good insight into the general operations of the school world and its governing documents to be able to challenge us pedagogically and contribute to the development of the operations. You must hold a teaching license and a degree in special education. It is desirable that you have a good understanding of the opportunities and challenges regarding students, staff, and development. In your role, you will mentor staff and work to develop leadership, stimulation, and accessible learning environments, as well as extra adaptations and special support when needed. You will work closely with teaching, students, and teachers.
