Education Administration

The Education Administration works across the 1–19 age spectrum and includes preschool, school, and leisure centers. We work systematically and inclusively in our processes with a clear focus on children and students, which is one of the reasons for our good results in both preschool and school. Balders School

At Balders School, with just over 430 students, you are given the opportunity to work in professional and creative working groups. Together with colleagues, the school principal, and two deputy principals, you will help build and further develop Balders School.

Job Responsibilities

You will belong to a grade-level team and teach Natural Sciences and Technology (NO/Tk). In addition, you will teach mathematics in two grade levels. Together with four subject colleagues, you will place special emphasis on sparking students' interest in NO/Tk, supported by the NTA (National Teaching Agency) framework. In mathematics, which is taught in parallel for one grade level, the subject team works together with special education teachers to support students in developing their mathematical skills.

Documentation, assessment, and evaluation are integral parts of the work. The assignment includes mentoring within your grade-level team. Together with your colleagues, you will create a developmental environment for the students. This means that, together with colleagues, student health services, and school leadership, you will lead and develop the school's daily operations to increase goal achievement.

Qualifications

You are an educated and licensed teacher in Mathematics, Natural Sciences, and Technology – preferably with a couple of years of experience. You are solution-oriented, flexible, and unpretentious. You find it easy to build relationships with students, parents, and colleagues and care about a work environment where everyone feels comfortable and well. You are a clear leader, can collaborate, and communicate clearly with students and colleagues.

Subject-wise, you have good insight and knowledge of the school's governing documents and the ability to translate them into practical daily work. You stay up-to-date with new findings regarding both work methods and increased goal achievement. Previous experience with NTA is an asset.
