Education Administration and Köpingebro School

The Education Administration is responsible for preschool, primary school, after-school centers, high school, adult education, and child/student health services. Approximately 1,100 employees create a safe and developmental school and childcare environment here.

Köpingebro School is a Grades F-6 school for students aged 6–13, located just 200 meters from the Köpingebro train station. The school has approximately 400 students, of whom 220 are enrolled in the after-school center.

The school is beautifully situated with proximity to forests, the sea, and the municipality's nature school, Marietorp. The large schoolyard offers activities that promote play and movement, including an artificial turf field, an obstacle course, a large play area, and well-equipped playgrounds. We also have a full-scale sports hall, an extended-hours library, and a school restaurant serving nutritious and delicious meals daily.

Work teams are divided into Grades F-3, Grades 4-6, and after-school care F-6. Each grade level works in interdisciplinary teams consisting of teachers, after-school pedagogues, preschool teachers, childcare workers, and pedagogical resources. Teams are adapted to needs to create the best possible teaching situation and optimize resource usage.

We invest in accessible and inspiring learning environments with excellent access to digital tools. A student health team consisting of the principal, deputy principal, special pedagogue, special teacher, school nurse, school counselor, student coordinator, and school psychologist is available.

Our operations are at the forefront of reaching all students. We dare to try new things with pedagogical methods based on research and proven experience. Together, we breathe optimism for the future!
