At S:t Petri School, we are seeking a teacher for Social Studies and Religious Education. This is a temporary position (substitute) from August 10, 2026, to June 24, 2027. Join us and contribute to the future of Malmö's residents and society!
Responsibilities
As a teacher, you work to help students develop their full potential – both academically and socially. You support, motivate, and stimulate every student to meet the knowledge requirements based on their individual prerequisites. Your duties include planning, teaching, and assessment, as well as the evaluation and development of the pedagogical activities in accordance with the school's governing documents.
We are a learning organization that promotes knowledge exchange, where you will be in an environment characterized by collegial learning and development. Together with colleagues, you will work to create a good learning and working environment for both students and staff. You will also contribute to the school's quality and development work.
Qualifications
Requirements:
- Teaching license (Lärarlegitimation)
- Qualification to teach Social Studies and Religious Education at the upper secondary level
- Experience using digital tools for communication and pedagogy
- Good insight into the school's goals and governing documents
- Excellent Swedish, both spoken and written.
Merits:
- Qualification to teach other subjects
- Experience teaching Social Studies and Religious Education
- Experience in other teaching or pedagogical work.

Furthermore, you contribute to good collaborations and communicate openly, clearly, and attentively with your surroundings. You also understand how students' background, culture, and group affiliation affect learning, and you create an inclusive learning environment where all students have the opportunity to succeed.
