Clinical Trials Sweden - Forum Söder is a unique regional support function with the mission to support and promote clinical research in the Southern Health Care Region. We offer support and services to researchers, research staff, and life science companies conducting clinical trials in healthcare. Thus, we work to make Sweden an attractive country for conducting clinical trials, which contribute to the development of new and innovative products and treatment methods, for the benefit of patients and society. Forum Söder also has the assignment to act as a regional node for the Southern Health Care Region within the framework of the national collaboration Clinical Trials Sweden, supported by the Swedish Research Council.
Our operations include around forty employees and are located at Skåne University Hospital in Lund.

RESPONSIBILITIES
As a Clinical Trial Manager/Project Manager, you will participate in or lead various projects and activities aimed at creating better conditions for clinical studies in healthcare. We work, for example, to facilitate the conduct of academic and company-initiated clinical trials in healthcare and to strengthen collaboration with Life Science companies. Furthermore, we work to make clinical research an integrated part of healthcare and to ensure that patients have equal opportunities to participate in studies.
In the role of Clinical Trial Manager/Project Manager, you will work together with national, regional, and local colleagues to handle study requests via the national service Feasibility Sweden: https://feasibility.kliniskastudier.se/ (https://feasibility.kliniskastudier.se/). The service, which can be used for all therapeutic areas, offers life science companies and academic researchers a national entry point for quick responses to study requests (feasibilities) directed at Swedish healthcare.
Your responsibilities also include coordination and handling of contract matters for clinical trials and research projects in healthcare. You are part of a team that provides support regarding contract and budget negotiations. In this role, you work, on behalf of researchers and sponsors, in close collaboration with specialists in law, data protection, GCP, and regulations to review and ensure that all contracts comply with applicable legislation, rules, and ethical guidelines.
You may also participate in the development and implementation of the training and seminars offered by Forum Söder. If needed, quality review of clinical studies may also occur. Additionally, you will work with various internal and external communication initiatives to disseminate information about Clinical Trials Sweden's and Forum Söder's research support and operations.
Business travel within Sweden is part of the job.
QUALIFICATIONS
You applying should have a university/college education in life sciences such as medicine, health sciences, pharmaceutical science, or natural sciences, or another equivalent education that we consider relevant for the position. To be eligible for the position, you must also have good knowledge of the planning and conduct of clinical research or clinical trials from your own work in healthcare, life science companies, or academia. You have excellent oral and written communication skills in both Swedish and English.
We consider it an asset if you have experience from the healthcare organization, research and development projects, and collaborations between several sectors such as healthcare, academia, and the life science industry.
Similarly, it is an asset if you have good knowledge of regulations for clinical trials with medicinal products and medical devices, regulations for handling personal data, and good knowledge of contract management in clinical trials or clinical research.
To succeed and thrive in the position, it is important that you have good communication skills and can build trust and good relationships with colleagues and clients. You are a responsive team player, have excellent collaboration skills, a strong service interest, and are willing to share your experience and knowledge.
