JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

The job responsibilities include teaching German as a modern language in grades 6-9, as well as mentorship in the class.

You who are applying should be interested in creating a pedagogical environment that challenges and stimulates students’ development and learning. The pedagogical activities are based on each child’s conditions and are built on teaching designed in accordance with the curriculum’s goals.

As a teacher, you enhance the students’ school day by inspiring, organizing, and conducting structured teaching, as well as supporting students’ social development. You support the students and the school in becoming a safe, stimulating, and educational environment during the school day.

You will be part of a team consisting of subject teachers and student support staff who, together with local student health and school management, develop a stimulating and pleasant operation.

We expect you to have a strong commitment to driving and developing digital and language-developing methods. QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who has education, degree, and certification as a primary school teacher with authorization to teach German as a modern language.

We place great importance on your experiences in planning, teaching, and assessment in the pedagogical work. You should be well acquainted with the laws and regulations that govern schools as well as the curriculum and syllabuses and have the ability to implement this in practice.

You should have a very good sense of service and enjoy meeting people. You feel secure and thrive in your professional role, are engaged, and contribute to a good working climate. Furthermore, you have good collaboration skills, a positive attitude, and good reception.

You have good communication skills in both speech and writing, and you find it easy to create good relationships. We highly value flexibility and commitment.

Knowledge of using digital technology in teaching is an advantage.

There is an opportunity to combine the work with being a part-time firefighter. Assessment will be made based on the needs of the operation.
