Kungsskolan has about 300 students in grades 7-9. The school is located near the center, just a short walk from the bus stop, which allows for commuting from other areas.
We have nice, well-adapted facilities, an active youth center, and a wonderful team of colleagues who work every day to provide our students with a good school and a solid start in life.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
With us, you will work in a team alongside special teachers, special educators, and student assistants. Our special team collaborates to support and challenge students, teachers, and principals. The work involves teaching, maintaining and developing our structures, as well as mentoring and investigating. In your role, you will need to work both independently and collaboratively with others.
We are looking for someone with a degree as a special teacher. We prefer that you have prior experience working in a special education group, and personal suitability for the role in our team is of great importance. Special experience in teaching students with special needs is an advantage.
QUALIFICATIONS
You have good collaboration skills and are relationship-building. You have the ability to create a positive working atmosphere with engagement, curiosity, and security for both students and colleagues.
You have the ability to meet students' diverse needs by listening to students, discussing with colleagues, and shaping your work based on success factors and research for learning and teaching, in dialogue with colleagues and based on students' interests and influence. You are courageous and want to develop and continue learning together with others. You want to work in a team and contribute to the development of the organization based on the school's development work and your own experiences.
