About the Role and Your Responsibilities

Do you want to help develop the after-school activities in the adapted primary school while working creatively with students through the subject of art?

We are now looking for a licensed primary school teacher for after-school activities at Nyvångskolan and Backsippan in Dalby.

The role includes a special responsibility to contribute to the development and coordination of after-school activities together with colleagues.

You will play an important role in creating structure, content, and continuity in the after-school program so that the activities are safe, meaningful, and developmental for the students.

The position also includes teaching art within the adapted primary school, where you provide students with the opportunity to express themselves creatively and develop their imagination, communication, and self-esteem through creative work.

The role involves varied work where you alternate between teaching, after-school activities, and development work in close collaboration with colleagues and other professionals during the school day.

The after-school program is an important part of the students' entire school day and contributes to their learning, community, and social development.

The work is carried out in close collaboration with colleagues, student health, school management, and guardians.

We Are Looking for You

We are looking for you who are a licensed primary school teacher for after-school activities for work in primary or adapted primary school. You have qualifications in art.

You have experience working in after-school programs or other educational activities in schools and feel confident planning, implementing, and following up on educational activities. We prefer that you have at least two years of relevant experience from working in schools or after-school programs.

You have experience working with students in need of special support as well as with students within the target group for adapted primary school and feel confident meeting their various needs. Knowledge of clear pedagogy and low-arousal approaches is therefore important in the role.

We are looking for someone who finds the combination of teaching, after-school activities, and development work exciting and who wants to contribute to developing the after-school program in the adapted primary school.

As a person, you work in a structured, relationship-building, and collaborative manner. You take initiative and have the ability to contribute to the development of the organization. In the role, you will contribute to structure and coordination in the after-school activities, which means you need to be confident in leading and coordinating the work together with colleagues and creating conditions for the activities to function even when you are not present.

You have a clear student focus and work to create safety, participation, and meaningfulness in the students' entire school day.

The adapted primary school within the Nyvång school area operates at Nyvångskolan and Backsippan in Dalby. Within the school area, there is also Fåglasång adapted primary school in Södra Sandby.
