The Education Administration works with a perspective from 1 to 19 years and includes preschool, school, and after-school care. HAGALID SCHOOL

Hagalidskolan is a school for grades 7 to 9 located in Staffanstorp with about 480 students. The school is organized so that each grade forms a work team. The school is characterized by a good atmosphere, strong collaboration among all staff, and high goal achievement. At Hagalidskolan, teachers are given good conditions to carry out their mission. We have a low staff turnover, which creates stability and continuity.

Since 2013, Hagalidskolan has operated a sports academy in collaboration with Malmö FF, Malmö FBC, Staffanstorps HK, and SK Triton. The sports academy gives some of our students the opportunity to practice their sport during their school day.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Are you looking for a new and exciting assignment where your skills can make a significant difference for our students?

We are now seeking a student coordinator for grades 7-9 at Hagalidskolan in Staffanstorp Municipality. Staffanstorp Municipality will work on an attendance project funded by the European Social Fund from January 2026 to June 2028. The project aims to increase attendance among students at two of the municipality's secondary schools; Hagalidskolan in Staffanstorp and Hjärupslundskolan in Hjärup. The schools will each have a team consisting of special education teachers/subject teachers and a student coordinator who will work full-time closely with students, guardians, and other school staff to support students with poor attendance. We offer a project employment at 100%, starting according to agreement and lasting throughout the project until June 2028.

As a student coordinator, you can contribute to student-centered school promotion work through daily contact with students, guardians, and teachers. The student coordinator works to activate the student and create school motivation by building on the student's interests. This could be an interest in art, cooking, or sports that is used as an entry point to build a relationship with the student and to foster motivation. Together with special education teachers, an individual action plan is created for each student participating in the project. Working within the attendance project provides an opportunity to develop methods to promote attendance among students, and skills-enhancing measures will occur continuously. Since the varying needs of students will guide the work, it is required that you as a person are curious, flexible, and solution-focused. Other competencies required include the ability to work independently, in a structured manner, and to compile data for analysis and summaries.

• Collaborate with students, guardians, student health, and other staff at the school
• Map students' support needs and reasons for absence
• Develop individual action plans for participating students in the project
• Work to increase school motivation and remove barriers to school attendance or learning.
• Compile data and analyze the work together with others
• Inform within the school and municipality about student-centered attendance work
• Assist in developing methodological support for student-centered attendance work

Interviews will take place during week 13.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Relevant education in, for example, behavioral science, education, or social work
• Experience in supportive/motivational work with youth
• Good relational competence and ability to collaborate well with students, guardians, school staff, and external contacts
• Good organizational skills
• Accustomed to working independently towards set goals
