About the Role and Your Responsibilities
As staff at the after-school program, you will work on planning and implementing teaching and activities during school and after-school hours.
You are expected to work collaboratively in a team based on the organization's goals and guidelines, teaching students to promote their development and learning as well as their social relationships. Together, you are responsible for creating a safe environment for the students, both during school hours and at the after-school program.
We Are Looking for You
We are looking for someone with experience working in schools, and it is an advantage if you have worked in after-school programs. We prefer that you are a primary school teacher for after-school programs, but other qualifications that the employer considers relevant for the position include leisure leaders, social educators, or similar. You have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written, as well as knowledge of digital systems. Your strengths include teamwork, flexibility, responsibility, and always keeping the student in focus.

About the Workplace
Kulparkskolan is a K-3 school in Stångby that started in 2012 and has developed since then. In our beautiful facilities and outdoor environment, we create a good sense of community and learning. Currently, cooperative learning, differentiated instruction, and recess activities are in focus. We are a school with high goal fulfillment and low staff turnover. The staff works together and contributes their experiences and knowledge to develop the organization into a school where everyone, students and staff alike, feels successful. Our values work is well developed, and students are divided into buddy groups that meet regularly on our together days.
All education is based on the governing documents that are based on research and proven experience. Our students are given the opportunity to develop as far as possible based on their experiences and abilities.
The position is filled on the condition that it is not needed by already permanently employed staff.
In the child and school administration, we work to create equity and good conditions for all children and students in our preschools, primary schools, and adapted primary schools to achieve their goals. Together, we work for a uniform and clear governance of preschool and school in a modern and efficient organization, with the goal of enabling world-class education. Our ambitions are high, and we always strive to create good conditions for development and ensure high quality in the activities.
To work with children or students in preschool and school, you need to be able to present an acceptable extract from the criminal record.
