Job Responsibilities

At Vuxen LSS, you will be part of a safe and experienced workgroup characterized by trust-based leadership, professionalism, and strong community. We care for each other, share knowledge, and work together to create quality in every case.

We work with authority exercise towards adults with disabilities (not social psychiatry) who apply for services under LSS and SoL.

As a social worker with us, you will:

• inform, investigate, assess, and make decisions according to current legislation
• follow up on granted services
• work legally and structured with the individual's needs in focus

You will be part of a competent team consisting of 16 social workers, three of whom work as job guides. The unit also has two senior social workers, a social administrator, and a unit manager. We work in pleasant premises at Rimmaregatan 6 and share office space.

We are a stable unit with low staff turnover and a culture where you can take responsibility while feeling secure. Here, you are expected to be professional – but you are never alone.

You will receive:

• A solid introduction with support from two experienced senior social workers
• Continuous methodological guidance, both individually and in groups

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who is a trained social worker or has another equivalent university education.

You have:

• Experience in authority exercise
• Good knowledge of case management according to SoL and LSS
• Ability to express yourself well in Swedish, both orally and in writing

Experience with IBIC, Treserva, and/or SAMSA is an advantage.
