Kunskapsskolan Krokslätt is a primary school for grades 4-9 and currently has about 300 students. The school started in 2010 and is a very heterogeneous school with students from all over Greater Gothenburg.

Kunskapsskolan Krokslätt is now looking for a new counselor

Do you want to work in a school organization that is in constant development and has high expectations for both students and staff? Then we have the job for you!

We are looking for a counselor who has a strong commitment and who always works actively to ensure that all students succeed and feel good. You need to be flexible, have an easy time collaborating, and have a genuine interest in the student. You will work closely with students and tailor your approach while also working to see the whole picture, both from a group and organizational perspective. You need to actively work with the entire staff group, and therefore see collaboration as essential.

As a counselor at Kunskapsskolan, you will primarily work with preventive student health efforts in close collaboration with the rest of the student health team and the school's teachers, but also with students and their guardians. You are never alone with challenges and questions. The openness among staff is great, and we have a shared responsibility for our students. In addition to preventive student health work, you will also need to help and support students with various everyday problems that occur at school or during their leisure time, as well as work with both absence investigations and reports of harassment that arise at the school. You will lead the school's safety team, and we place great importance on your communication skills.

Qualifications

Degree in social work or equivalent education.

Meritorious qualifications

To succeed in the role of counselor, you need to build trust with the students, which means you need to be stable and secure as a person and create trust between the school and home regarding the students you work with. You also need to be communicative and have a good ability to conduct structured and motivating conversations with the students.

Job design

The position is a permanent position at 80-100%.
