Our client is a playful young man in his 20s with autism who needs support and guidance in his daily life.

He has difficulties with verbal communication and interaction with others. He is physically active and enjoys swimming, walking, cycling, as well as moving around indoors. There are also times when he just wants to sit still for a longer period. It is important that you do not easily become restless but see the possibilities in the little things.

It is important in this job to be attentive and able to switch between different paces. A large part of your work is also to provide good supervision to our client as he is very impulsive and does not understand either consequences or risks.

The job involves following the client in his daily life and helping him with what he cannot manage on his own. Your work also involves being a pedagogical friend who gives him the opportunity to develop in the areas where he has difficulties.

He has a need for physical closeness as part of his communication and interaction.

In working with the client, we are inspired by Son-Rise. A pedagogy based on low-arousal responses, acceptance, and following the person's interests to create challenges for the client that in turn provide opportunities for development.

The client participates in daily activities for a certain time in the mornings. The position is for afternoons/evenings and weekends.

On days off, daytime work and longer shifts may occur.

The client has double assistance for certain activities.

The client lives with his family.
