Personal assistance is a service under LSS (The Act concerning Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments). As a personal assistant, you provide individual support and care to individuals who have been granted personal assistance because they need help with one or more basic needs. Each customer is unique, and your tasks vary based on the customer's needs. You respect the customer's self-determination and integrity, and contribute to making everyday life run smoothly.

About the position

The role of a personal assistant places high demands on the ability to create good relationships. Therefore, we are looking for someone who is attentive, engaged, and responsible. It is also important that you are punctual, have a good demeanor, and possess good teamwork skills.

We are now looking for someone who meets the following criteria:

• wants to work with a male customer aged 59 living with his wife just outside Uddevalla

• our customer prefers a female assistant

• has good knowledge of Swedish both spoken and written

• has a car and driver's license to get to the workplace

• can accompany on short trips

• has experience in lifting techniques

It is also advantageous if you:

• have experience in similar work and understand what personal assistance entails

• have experience in personal care

Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

Working hours, employment rate, and salary:

The current employment form is "As long as the assistance assignment lasts" and the position is approximately 50-75%. The work will take place during daytime hours.

Proposed 75% position, 2-week schedule. V1: Monday 8:00 AM - 9:00 PM, Tuesday 8:00 AM - 9:00 PM, Saturday and Sunday 8:30 AM - 1:30 PM. V2: Wednesday, Thursday 8 AM - 8 PM.

Fixed hourly wage according to agreement and other compensations will be in accordance with collective agreements.

Being employed at Humana
