Skållegården is aimed at children and adolescents aged 12-16 years. The target group includes girls and boys who may find themselves in inappropriate environments and who exhibit norm-breaking behavior, often in combination with an NPF diagnosis, which can manifest as low impulse control, challenging behaviors, isolation, deficiencies in social skills, relationship issues, or high school absenteeism.

Skållegården is located in a quiet rural area with a large garden for outdoor play. The operation is structured so that each child and adolescent has their own individually tailored schedule. We strive to be a service that provides that little extra, is present with great care, and where we create predictability and security in the child/youth's daily life.

The goal of the treatment at Skållegården is to create conditions for positive development in mental and physical well-being. The aim of the operation is to create a balanced overall situation for the child/youth, incorporating aspects of life such as school, leisure, and social relationships.

Methods and approaches in the operation:

The operation is based on CBT (cognitive behavioral therapy) and clarifying pedagogy. Other methods and approaches used in the operation include: MI (motivational interviewing and motivational conversations for change), Crisis and trauma response, AAC (alternative augmentative communication), LAB (low-arousal approach).

Your knowledge and experience:

We prefer that you have completed or are currently pursuing a 2-year post-secondary education such as treatment pedagogue, social pedagogue, behavioral science, or other equivalent education in social work. It is advantageous if you have knowledge of NPF, LAB, and clarifying pedagogy or have worked with children aged 12-16 years.

You have good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written, as documentation, journal notes, and monthly reports are an important part of the work. As a person, you are secure in yourself and can convey this to your surroundings. It is required that you have great patience and can remain steadfast even when the children/youth test boundaries. You are structured, responsible, and flexible, seeing opportunities instead of obstacles. We also see that you find it easy to collaborate with others and have a solution-focused approach, and you should enjoy activities, as we place great emphasis on training social interaction outside the operation. Your personal qualities are of great importance.

Your tasks include being involved and collaborating with the child/youth's stakeholders such as school, social services, relatives, and healthcare. Together with the child/youth, you will establish and evaluate the implementation plan based on the care plan we have received from social services. You will help drive the treatment process forward together with your colleagues, conducting assessments with the child/youth. You will contribute to the child/youth's treatment report, which we send to social services every month.

Additionally, you should have good computer skills. A driver's license (B) and a certificate from the police's suspicion and criminal record register are required.

Scope: Full-time/Part-time (80-100%)

Working hours: Day, evening, and weekend shifts according to schedule.

Start date: By agreement.
