Personal Assistant Wanted

We are now looking for a personal assistant for a lively, cheerful, and active five-year-old boy who lives with his family in a house just outside Trollhättan.

About the Position

The working hours are scheduled on weekdays in the morning/forenoon according to a rotating schedule. The position is 50% and starts as an hourly employment, with the possibility to transition into a fixed-term employment as long as the assignment lasts – provided that you and the family enjoy working together.

About the Child

The boy has a tracheostomy (trach), PEG, and several medical needs. He has no verbal communication, which means that you as an assistant will interpret for him to the surroundings. He is active and enjoys when things happen around him.

We are looking for someone who:

• Is positive, secure, and has great patience
• Speaks and understands Swedish fluently (requirement)
• Preferably has experience working with children
• Has experience with trach and/or medical care (meritorious)
• Has knowledge of sign language or TAKK (meritorious)
• Has a driver's license and access to a car (an advantage as public transport is limited)
