Bessemerskolan is a high school with approximately 1,000 students and 180 employees. We offer five university preparatory programs, seven vocational programs, four introductory programs, and adapted upper secondary school. There is also a national sports high school (RIG) with orienteering and national sports education (NIU) with bandy and floorball. Our education is conducted in suitable premises near the center of Sandviken, with a world-class school library and strong collaboration with the business community. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a teacher with us, you will primarily teach the subject of German, and possibly another subject, as well as have mentoring responsibilities. You will be part of a working group and subject group where collaboration and development are in focus.

You contribute by:

• Planning and implementing teaching based on governing documents and students' needs.
• Creating an inclusive and stimulating learning environment.
• Being a mentor and supporting students' social and academic development.
• Actively participating in the working group's joint development work.
• Using digital tools to develop teaching.

• Working together to create a safe and learning environment.
• Encouraging initiatives and ideas that develop the operations.

QUALIFICATIONS

In this role, you work development-oriented and see opportunities in new ideas and methods. Collaboration is part of everyday life and is characterized by attentive communication and constructive solutions. You need to have pedagogical insight and be able to adapt teaching according to different conditions so that learning becomes meaningful for each student. A structured work style with good planning and the ability to keep deadlines is also important to create stability in daily work.

For the position, the following is required:

• Teaching certification with authorization for upper secondary school
• Good knowledge of upper secondary school's governing documents
• Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
