The Northern Inner City area Operator LSS provides services according to LSS.

We provide services to adults with various disabilities as well as dementia and acquired brain injuries. Our mission is to offer support and service based on individual needs and wishes, and we actively work to promote equality and full participation in community life. The work is characterized by a pedagogical approach, a structured working method, and a low-arousal and respectful attitude towards tenants and colleagues.

We are now looking for temporary staff who want to work extra as needed and during the summer months in Unit 2 as support assistants/support staff/personal assistance/guidance. We work on a rolling schedule with shifts during the day, evening, awake night, and weekends. Unit 2 consists of a group home, personal assistance, therapy dog team, contact person activities, and respite/guidance activities.

Your Role

The work involves supporting, motivating, and clarifying everyday life for the tenants, as well as providing care and service based on the tenants' individual needs. The work also involves collaboration with the tenant's network. Good physical ability and endurance are prerequisites for the job to support the tenant based on their needs. In the assignment, you are expected to be involved in the tenant's everyday life, providing support and active guidance based on their needs. This may involve participating in the individual's leisure activities and accompanying them to various meetings they have.

You are expected to use digital tools, manage phone contacts, and read and write social documentation.

Your Competence and Experience

It is a requirement that you have completed or are currently pursuing an education in:

• Care Program/Care and Nursing Program with a focus on disabilities/dementia
• Or another equivalent education in care and nursing

It is an advantage if you have work experience from:

• Working in a Group Home LSS
• Experience in caregiving
• Experience in dementia care
• Working with personal assistance
• Guidance
