Your Mission

Nacka Municipality has twelve group and service housing facilities for adults according to the Act on Support and Service for Certain Disabled Persons (LSS). In these homes, our clients live in their own apartments with access to social interaction in shared spaces. As a summer temp, you will work to provide support and service to our clients in various aspects of their lives and daily routines. The focus of your work is always on the clients and creating conditions for safety, personal development, and good living conditions. We adapt to the individual needs and respect each client's wishes and preferences. Daily documentation and close collaboration with relatives are also part of the job.

The tasks are varied, including support and service with:

• Personal care, hygiene, and medication
• Shopping and cooking
• Daily and weekly planning
• Various leisure activities

Introduction will always be provided before starting work. We offer you the opportunity to work days, evenings, weekends, and on-call shifts, and you can also choose your own employment level.

Your Experience

To be considered for the position, you must:

• Be at least 18 years old
• Have good language skills in Swedish (both spoken and written)
• Have good physical ability

Previous relevant experience and education in the field are advantageous.

We are looking for someone with a pedagogical approach and an understanding of how to work with the target group. Although we work a lot in teams, you need to be able to work independently with clients and feel secure with the responsibilities it entails. You see it as a given to keep the client's perspective in focus, and you are responsible and reliable.

As a temp, you will be employed by the Competence Supply Unit within Nacka Municipality, which is responsible for coordinating and ensuring the quality of staffing care personnel during short-term absences and monthly temporary positions. As a summer temp, you will work in one or more of our operations depending on how much you want to work this summer. We also offer you the opportunity to work as a substitute both before and after your summer position.

To create continuity for our clients, you should be able to work for a longer continuous period from June to September. You are also expected to attend an introduction in the spring.
