The Staffing Center is a municipal operation responsible for Huddinge municipality's substitute management within its own organization. Our mission is to staff and recruit hourly substitutes for various operations within support functions and elderly care during short-term absences such as illness, vacation, or training.

We are currently looking for hourly substitutes for our operations within support functions.

As a substitute within support functions, you can work at:

The job responsibilities include meeting our users' individual needs for care, support, and activities. You treat the residents with respect, focusing on making them feel safe and involved in their care. The assignment also includes medication management after delegation from a nurse.

Your Profile

To be considered for the job, you need to be available at least three days a week. We have operations that are open around the clock every day of the year. Therefore, you need to be able to work varying hours that may occur during the day and evening, both weekdays and weekends. There may also be work during awake nights or sleeping on-call. Because you work at different times of the day, particularly high demands are placed on flexibility. As a substitute, you need to be available at short notice.

You need to be able to work during the summer, and it is advantageous if you are available for substitutes with a monthly schedule for at least 4 consecutive weeks. We also appreciate if you are available during the spring as a substitute.

You who are applying for the position have experience working within support functions. It is particularly advantageous if you have worked with personal care and have experience working with challenging behavior and low-arousal responses. It is also advantageous if you are a trained nursing assistant or childcare worker.

The job places high demands on initiative, collaboration, and problem-solving. You need to be confident in yourself and comfortable working with individuals who are in great need of continuity, structure, and care. Special emphasis is placed on approach, view of humanity, and empathy.

You must have a good command of the Swedish language in both spoken and written form.

Good computer skills are required as documentation is done on a computer.
