We are looking for you who want to make a real difference – personal assistants for a man in his 70s in Järna

Are you a warm, dedicated, and attentive person who is passionate about supporting others in their daily lives? Then you might be the one we are looking for.

We are currently seeking personal assistants for a pleasant man in his 70s who lives with his wife in a villa in central Järna. He lives with MS and has reduced speech ability. He uses various aids in his daily life, and an important part of the assistance is to actively work with training to maintain and strengthen his function and independence.

We are primarily looking for summer substitutes starting immediately – for the right person, there is an opportunity for continued employment in the future. The work is scheduled for days, evenings, and weekends, and night shifts may occur. During daytime training, you will work with another assistant; at other times, you will work independently.

He needs support in all personal care and during transfers, but he is also a person with many interests and a desire to be involved in his daily life.

He enjoys:

• Being in the kitchen and participating in cooking

• Spending time in the garden and enjoying nature

• Going on excursions and discovering new environments

Here you will have the opportunity to work closely with a person and truly contribute to quality of life – both in small and large ways.

• Provide support in daily activities with a focus on training and function

• Assist with cooking and other interests

• Accompany on excursions and outdoor activities

• Help with transfers and personal care

The work requires presence, commitment, and a genuine interest in strengthening the individual's own abilities.

• Has experience in personal assistance and is comfortable working independently

• Has experience with – or feels comfortable working with – individuals with neurological diseases such as MS

• Is positive, flexible, and responsible

• Has a clear focus on training and maintaining function

• Speaks and writes Swedish fluently and is used to documenting

Working hours: Days, evenings, and weekends. Night shifts may occur. Salary: Fixed hourly wage according to agreement. Other compensations according to collective agreement. Start date: By agreement.
