Social Worker Wanted at Stockholms Sjukhem in Bromma

We are now looking for someone who wants to work part-time as a social worker at our unit in Bromma, starting immediately. Stockholms Sjukhem offers acute geriatric inpatient care in Bromma and Kungsholmen. Care is provided in multidisciplinary teams in close collaboration between staff, patients, and relatives, and together we develop ambitious, qualitative, and sustainable rehabilitation efforts with the individual in focus. Our work is characterized by a lack of prestige and care, where we share our knowledge. Our goal is to be the leading organization in acute geriatric care in Stockholm County.

About the Role of Social Worker

As a social worker with us, you will be offered a varied job in a stimulating environment. Your tasks will include:

  • support conversations during acute illness and/or injury
  • training of nursing staff
  • contact with authorities and relatives

We work in a team-based manner and closely with other colleagues in the team such as occupational therapists, dietitians, physiotherapists, speech therapists, as well as doctors and nursing staff. The assignment also includes working at the cognitive memory clinic in Bromma. We use the TakeCare journal system.

The position is hourly or part-time, as agreed. Work is scheduled Monday to Friday. We apply individual salary setting.

Are You Our New Colleague?

We are looking for someone who is a licensed health and medical care social worker or a social worker with previous experience in geriatric inpatient care. Your personal qualities are important to us. We want you to be communicative, maintain a high level of service, and be unpretentious in your approach to the world. You appreciate variety, switching between a team-oriented and individual working style, thus contributing your perspectives in a larger context. The position requires that you master the Swedish language fluently in speech and writing and have good computer skills.
