About the Company

The Protection Airfield Work Company is responsible for the operational maintenance of Såtenäs Airfield. The company consists of a rescue platoon, a field maintenance platoon, and a remote operations team. We are now looking for a material officer for the company.

Job Description

As a material officer, you will be part of the company management and work closely with the quartermaster and technical manager. You will provide administrative support to the company in the areas of material, purchasing, and technical maintenance.

Main Responsibilities:

• Be responsible for accounting and follow-up of the company's material in relevant support systems.
• Be responsible for purchasing and invoice management within the company.
• Support the quartermaster in the annual inventory of materials, documents, publications, keys, etc.
• Assist the quartermaster with material planning and needs assessment for upcoming material requirements.
• Support the technical manager in follow-up and ordering of maintenance for the company's material.
• Act as the commander for the company during exercises and operations.

Business trips and work during inconvenient hours may occur.

Qualifications

• Swedish citizen
• Ability to communicate clearly in both spoken and written Swedish and English.
• Driver's license B
• Good knowledge of the Office package.
• Approved high school education

Meritorious

• Experience with the PRIO and LIFT systems.
• Experience working with inventory structure in logistics.
• Combat training or military service

As a material officer, it is important that you are easy to collaborate with others and service-oriented. To solve your tasks effectively, you also need to be structured, self-driven, and proactive.
