JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

You will be part of one of our work teams and subject teams, teaching visual arts for grades 7-9.

The position also includes mentorship.

Your responsibilities include:

  • planning, executing, and following up on the teaching in the subjects you are responsible for
  • analyzing teaching and results
  • providing mentorship/performing class leader duties
  • parent contacts
  • contributing to school development
  • collaborating with the student health team, school management, and external parties
  • school-wide value-based work
  • teamwork
  • working and documenting in the operational systems available

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for a certified teacher with qualifications to teach visual arts for grades 7-9.

You are a confident and clear leader in the classroom with good subject knowledge and have an easy time creating and maintaining good relationships with students, colleagues, and guardians. You value and contribute to good collaboration by having an open, accommodating, and problem-solving approach. You are structured and have the ability to plan, organize, and analyze students' learning and your teaching structure in an effective way that leads to desired results.

To contribute to the school's continued digital development, you are expected to have good IT skills and be able to easily engage with digital systems. Furthermore, you master the Swedish language in such a way that you can communicate with students, colleagues, and guardians, as well as document what the operations require in writing.

If you have experience working as a teacher after graduation, language development methods, or Swedish as a second language, it is an advantage.

Great importance is placed on personal suitability.
