JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
You will be part of one of our working teams and subject teams, teaching textile crafts in grades 3-6.
We are looking for someone who wants to help create an inspiring and developing craft education for our students at Karlberg School. As a craft teacher with us, you will have the opportunity to work creatively and closely with students, where you together with the students develop the teaching and create learning that engages and motivates.
Your responsibilities include:
- planning, implementing, and following up on the teaching within the subjects you are responsible for
- analyzing teaching and results
- mentoring/performing class leader tasks
- parent contacts
- contributing to school development
- collaborating with the student health team, school management, and external partners
- school-wide value-based work
- teamwork
- working and documenting in the operational systems available
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for a licensed teacher with qualifications to teach textile crafts for grades 3-6. It is an advantage if you have qualifications to teach additional subjects.
You are a confident and clear leader in the classroom and have a knack for establishing and maintaining good relationships with students, colleagues, and guardians. You value and contribute to good collaboration by having an open, accommodating, and problem-solving approach. You are structured and have the ability to plan, organize, and analyze students' learning as well as your teaching structure in an effective way that leads to desired results.
To contribute to the school's continued digital development, you are expected to have good IT skills and easily adapt to digital systems. Furthermore, you master the Swedish language in such a way that you can communicate with students, colleagues, and guardians, as well as document what the operation requires in writing.
If you have experience working with language-developing methods or Swedish as a second language, it is an advantage.
