Skrantaskolan is part of the school administration and is located in the southern part of Karlskoga. We have about 325 students. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

You will be part of one of our teams and teach mathematics, chemistry, and biology for grades 7-9. The position also includes mentorship.

Your responsibilities include:

• planning, implementing, and following up on teaching in the subjects you are responsible for
• analyzing teaching and results
• providing mentorship/performing class leader tasks
• parent contacts
• contributing to school development
• collaboration with student health teams, school management, and external parties
• school-wide values work
• teamwork
• working and documenting in the operational systems available

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for a licensed teacher qualified to teach mathematics, chemistry, and biology for grades 7-9.

You are a confident and clear leader in the classroom and find it easy to create and maintain good relationships with students, colleagues, and guardians. You value and contribute to good collaboration by having an open, accommodating, and problem-solving approach. You are structured and have the ability to plan, organize, and analyze students' learning as well as the structure of your teaching in an effective way that leads to desired results.

To contribute to the school's continued digital development, you are expected to have good IT skills and be able to easily take on digital systems. Furthermore, you master the Swedish language in such a way that you can communicate with students, colleagues, and guardians, as well as document what the operation requires in writing.

If you have experience working as a teacher after graduation, language development methods, or Swedish as a second language, it is an advantage.

Great importance is placed on personal suitability.
