JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We are looking for an engaged and relationship-building special teacher in mathematics who wants to be an important part of our faculty. In this role, you will work in the classroom alongside mathematics teachers to develop teaching and provide students with the best possible conditions for success.

You will be a central pedagogical resource supporting both students and teachers by adapting, challenging, and strengthening teaching where it actually takes place in the classroom.

As a special teacher in mathematics, you will:

  • work together with mathematics teachers in regular teaching
  • plan and implement adapted activities and structures in the classroom
  • identify and support students in need of extra adaptations or special support
  • conduct assessments and make pedagogical evaluations
  • contribute to developing the school's work with accessible learning environments
  • collaborate closely with student health services and contribute to preventive and promotional work
  • be a sounding board and support for mathematics teachers in pedagogical matters

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who:

  • is a qualified special teacher or has equivalent competence
  • has good subject knowledge in mathematics
  • enjoys being in the classroom and is passionate about making a difference for students right where they are
  • works in a structured and solution-focused manner
  • is confident in building relationships and collaborating in teams
  • has the ability to create clarity, security, and a conducive learning environment

Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.
