Österledskolan is part of the school administration and is located in the eastern part of Karlskoga. We have about 300 students. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

You will be part of one of our subject teams and teach home economics for grades 6-9. The position also includes mentorship.

Your responsibilities include:

• planning, implementing, and following up on teaching in the subjects you are responsible for
• analyzing teaching and results
• providing mentorship/performing class teacher duties
• parent contacts
• contributing to school development
• collaborating with the student health team, school management, and external parties
• school-wide value-based work
• teamwork
• working and documenting in the operational systems available

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for a qualified teacher with the authorization to teach home economics for grades 6-9.

You are a confident and clear leader in the classroom and have an easy time creating and maintaining good relationships with students, colleagues, and guardians. You value and contribute to good collaboration by having an open, accommodating, and problem-solving approach. You are structured and have the ability to plan, organize, and analyze students' learning as well as your teaching structure effectively to achieve desired results.

To contribute to the school's continued digital development, you are expected to have good IT skills and easily adapt to digital systems. Furthermore, you master the Swedish language to the extent that you can communicate with students, colleagues, and guardians and document what the operation requires in writing.

If you have experience working as a teacher after graduation, using language development methods, or teaching Swedish as a second language, it is an advantage.

Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.
