Karlskoga's adapted primary school is part of the school administration and is located in three different places. At Bråten School, there is a focus on subject areas for grades 1-9, at Sandvik School, there is a focus on subjects for grades 1-6, and at Österled School, there is a focus on subjects for grades 7-9. We have a total of about 60 students in our operations.
We are now looking for a teacher for the after-school program at the Adapted Primary School.
In the after-school program, students who study subject areas in the adapted primary school during school hours participate. Subject areas are for students who cannot fully benefit from all or parts of the adapted primary school's subjects. The after-school program is located in the newly built facilities of the adapted primary school at Bråten School.
The school's working team includes teachers and support staff who work together based on the students' conditions and needs.
RESPONSIBILITIES
As a teacher in the after-school program, you have overall responsibility for planning, leading, and developing the teaching in the after-school program with the goal of creating a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment for all students.
During the school day, you are an active and present pedagogical resource.
You have close and daily collaboration with the school's student assistants and other educators.
Your responsibilities also include:
- contact with guardians
- collaboration with the student health team, school management, and external parties
- school-wide value-based work
- teamwork
- working and documenting in the operational systems available
- analysis of teaching and results
Working hours are scheduled between 06:00 and 18:00.

QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for someone who is a licensed teacher in the after-school program and has previous experience working with children with intellectual disabilities.
To contribute to the school's continued digital development, you are expected to have good IT skills and easily take on digital systems. Furthermore, you must master the Swedish language in such a way that you can communicate with students, colleagues, and guardians, as well as document what the operations require in writing.
You are a secure and stable leader both in the classroom and in after-school activities. You find it easy to create and maintain good relationships with students, colleagues, and guardians. You value and contribute to good collaboration by having an open, accommodating, and solution-oriented approach.
Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.
The position will be filled subject to the necessary decisions being made.

You must request the extract from the National Police Board using the form "Extract from the Criminal Record" in the form archive from the police's website.
