Would you like to work with engaged colleagues in an interesting workplace? The Information Services Department is now seeking two students who can work this summer.

Job Responsibilities

Your main responsibilities will include serving at the information desk and staffing the shop at Carolina Rediviva. You will be the face of the library and the university, and we expect you to enjoy meeting people and putting users first.

Administrative tasks will also be included, such as book setup, labeling of books, interlibrary loans, journal management, some course book administration, and other library-related tasks.

Your working hours will be adapted to the library's opening hours.

Qualifications

To be considered for the position, you should:

• be able to work the entire period this summer, July 4 - August 8, 2026
• have relevant experience working at the Carolina Rediviva information desk
• have good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written

Personal suitability will be given great importance. You are service-oriented, enjoy meeting people, and put the user first. You have good judgment, are responsible, meticulous, and structured. You have good teamwork skills while also being able to take initiative independently.

Desirable/Additional Qualifications

It is an advantage if you:

• are studying/have studied library and information science
• have experience from a job that involves service and where you have had contact with users or customers

The position is temporary between the period of July 4 - August 8, 2026. The scope is full-time. Location: Uppsala
