GlobalConnect offers everything from secure connections for retail chains and small to medium-sized businesses to building advanced data centers for some of the world's most demanding customers.

In the role of customer service representative at GlobalConnect, you will be the customer's first point of contact throughout the process of acquiring fiber for their home. You will receive incoming calls and respond to emails from customers, assisting them with everything from orders and contracts to questions about installation, invoices, and services signed after installation. You are an important part of the customer journey; through your approach and expertise, you become the customer's closest contact and ensure they receive the information and help they need. In this role, you will work alongside an engaged team, where you support each other, develop together, and always strive to deliver the best possible service and solutions to customer inquiries.

This is a consulting assignment, which means you will be employed by Academic Work and work as a consultant at GlobalConnect. The assignment will be full-time and is expected to last at least 6 months. There are good chances for extension, provided that there is room for it and that all parties are satisfied with the collaboration.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Job Tasks

Handle various inquiries from customers via phone and email
Register incoming cases and ensure that cases reach the right person
Participate in improvement work, follow-up, and further development of the customer service department
Over time, you will have the opportunity to take on more responsibilities within the team to develop and grow

WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU WHO

Has completed high school education
Has experience from service jobs or another relevant background that has given you a strong sense of service
Is comfortable in meeting people and used to interacting with different personalities and needs
Enjoys using the phone as one of your primary work tools
Has good computer skills and the ability to quickly adapt to new working methods and tools
Is very comfortable with Swedish and English in both spoken and written form

It is meritorious, but not a requirement, if you have:

Worked in a customer service role before
Worked with fiber or other technical products before

Most importantly, your personality

You are socially secure, meticulous, and structured, and have a personal drive that makes you take responsibility for what you do. Providing service comes naturally to you, and you genuinely enjoy helping others. You thrive in a team, uplift your colleagues, and contribute to a positive and enjoyable work environment.
