Contract Coordinator for Supply Management in Region Uppsala

In this role, you will work closely with healthcare operations, procurement officers, and suppliers, becoming an important part of ensuring that the assortment, contracts, and information function smoothly for orderers across several regions.
This is a consulting assignment via Poolia, located at Region Uppsala in the Regional House. The assignment is planned to start immediately or as agreed. The duration of the assignment is 1 year with good opportunities for extension and possibly even direct employment with the client.
About the position
You will be part of Supply Management, a joint organization that conducts procurements for the regions of Dalarna, Sörmland, Uppsala, Västmanland, and Örebro, functioning as a wholesaler and supplier. The mission is to ensure that healthcare and dental care have access to consumables, focusing on quality, availability, and cost-effectiveness.
As a contract coordinator, you will work with support, contract management, and administration related to products and assortments. You will ensure that procured products are presented correctly in the systems and on the website while assisting orderers and collaborating with procurement officers and suppliers. The role involves many parallel cases and requires you to prioritize, structure your work, and handle various types of inquiries simultaneously.
In this role, you will among other things:
- Provide support to orderers within the regions regarding products and contracts
- Ensure that the procured assortment is presented correctly on the website and in the systems
- Update product information and manage changes in the assortment
- Handle cases related to delivery disruptions, product inquiries, and complaints
- Enter new items and contracts into the systems and manage replacement products
- Engage in dialogue with suppliers regarding item changes or product information
- Collaborate with procurement officers and other internal functions
Who are you?
We are looking for someone who is a trained nurse or nursing assistant with experience working in healthcare. Your background gives you a good understanding of how products are used in healthcare and what needs the operations have.
You have good administrative skills and feel comfortable working in various digital systems. You have good knowledge of the Office suite, communicate very well in Swedish both spoken and written, and also have good knowledge of English, as dialogue with suppliers sometimes occurs in English.
It is an advantage if you have several years of experience from inpatient care or have worked with purchasing materials or products within healthcare operations.
As a person, you are structured, stable, and solution-oriented. You thrive in a role where you have many contact points and can be both helpful and clear in your dialogue with orderers, procurement officers, and suppliers. You work just as well independently as in a team and have a good ability to prioritize when the pace is high.
