About the Role

Vattenfall Heat is now looking for a new leader who wants to influence tomorrow's climate-smart society and drive development and digitalization forward.

About the Role

Metering and Customer Solutions is tasked with providing customers and our own operations with data on the consumption of heat, cooling, and steam from our customers across all networks within Vattenfall Heat Sweden. The group is responsible for the entire metering process, which includes installation services, troubleshooting, and meter revisions, as well as customer-facing services such as installation services, maintenance, troubleshooting, and technical support.

We are looking for someone who wants to lead the group in the ongoing transformation within digitalization, new customer offerings, and a changing energy market. An engaged leadership close to your employees is one of your most important tasks, along with active participation in the development of new products and services related to our value proposition to customers.

Responsibilities and Tasks

  • Lead and develop a team of 10 employees located in our district heating areas of Uppsala, Haninge, and Nyköping
  • Develop the operations of the group in the short and long term
  • Work environment responsibility and budget responsibility for operational costs and investments
  • Collaborate and build relationships with stakeholders inside and outside the company to achieve the group's own and the business's overall goals
  • Responsible for competence development and staffing

Requirements

Your Profile

We prefer that you have:

  • Previous leadership experience as a manager, team leader, or project manager.
  • Master's degree in engineering, bachelor's degree in engineering, or equivalent technical education.
  • Good ability and experience in process-oriented work, improvement work, and preferably change management.
  • You have a B driver's license.

As a person, you are motivated to develop both people and working methods and have the ability to inspire and create engagement among your employees. Furthermore, you have a good ability to build trust and collaborate with others to achieve results. You also have the ability to lead the business through change and uncertain conditions and to quickly adapt when new requirements arise.

Location: Uppsala, alternatively Stockholm. As a manager, you are expected to be on-site at least 3 days/week at the office in Uppsala.
