Praktikertjänst Öregrund Health Center is a small clinic on the outskirts of Region Uppsala.

The clinic is centrally located in Öregrund with beautiful natural values right next door.

Here you will work in a relatively sparsely populated area and perform a lot of advanced investigations due to the long distance to the hospital in Uppsala.

We aim to offer our listed patients continuity and therefore want to hire a fourth specialist in addition to a resident physician. We want to offer responsibility corresponding to 1100 patients per full-time specialist.

In addition to traditional reception work, we use Doctrin's digital platform, which provides the conditions to prepare visits with good decision-making support. We also use Tandem Health to optimize record-keeping in a patient-safe and efficient manner.

At the clinic, we have doctors, district nurses, nurses, nursing assistants, physiotherapists, social workers, psychologists, medical secretaries, dietitians, and elderly coordinators. We have asthma/COPD nurses, diabetes nurses, and group activities both in the psychosocial team and via physiotherapists.

All professions are involved in the management group through their respective team leaders, which provides a close information channel to all employees.

Job Responsibilities

Do you want to be our face to the outside world? We are currently looking for a medical secretary for a temporary position, who is excited to help drive the future of primary care with us.

We offer you a fun and stimulating job that is varied and eventful. The role of medical secretary at Öregrund Health Center means that you will work in the reception primarily with cash handling, as well as common tasks such as medical documentation, rescheduling and canceling patients, record management, scanning, etc. Most of our doctors use TIK (speech recognition), which means that our dictations are fewer.

Qualifications

We welcome you who are educated in health and medical care administration or equivalent vocational training as a medical secretary.

It is desirable that you have previously worked in the Cosmic journal system and have prior experience as a medical secretary.

Personal Qualities

You have a good ability to prioritize between different tasks when the pace varies and can adapt your working methods when conditions require it. As a person, you are positive and responsible with a flexible approach.

You enjoy working independently but also in a team and find it easy to collaborate across professional boundaries. A professional approach and a good attitude towards both patients and colleagues is a given for you. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
