SiS also implements secure youth care. We do this in youth homes and homes for adults with substance abuse across the country. Working with us at SiS will be an exciting challenge. No matter where in our organization you work or what position you hold, you help create life-changing transformations.

At our headquarters in Solna Business Park, we are about 400 employees working together to support and develop the authority with approximately 5000 employees.

Job Description

Are you attracted to contributing to a vital mission by developing management and governance in a complex organization? Do you have several years of experience in management, governance, and administration within the public sector? Then you might be the one we are looking for!

SiS is on an exciting journey of change, with several parallel development initiatives underway to improve the management and governance of the authority as well as support for core operations.

The GD Staff is now looking for a qualified investigator who wants to contribute to the development of work related to management and governance. The GD Staff's mission is to support the Director General and the Deputy Director General in their management and governance, as well as to support and strengthen the authority's management's overall ability for strategic direction, governance, and coordination. You will work independently to carry out strategic investigation and development assignments within the GD Staff's area of responsibility. Preparing materials for the Director General and the Deputy Director General, as well as preparing various decision-making materials, is part of the job. You will often coordinate with other departments and sections, both internally and with our external partners, and participate in networks and steering groups.

The GD Staff is led by a head of staff and consists of seven employees. The position is varied and developmental. Travel within Sweden may occur.

  • Several years of experience in management, governance, and administration within the public sector
  • Excellent ability to express yourself in writing and verbally in Swedish
  • Good ability to express yourself in writing and verbally in English

It is meritorious if you also have:

  • Experience working at the government offices or assignments that have involved departmental contacts
  • Experience in qualified investigative work
  • Experience in staff functions/close to management

The work requires you to be communicative, have excellent collaboration skills, and be unpretentious. You are structured, organize and plan your work well, and complete what you have started with good quality according to the timeline. Furthermore, you have initiative, curiosity, and an interest in developing operations and working methods. Additionally, you can quickly grasp complex issues that require strategic thinking and a holistic view. The nature of the work places high demands on integrity, and great importance will be placed on your personal suitability!
