With us, you will work in a stimulating environment with knowledgeable and engaging colleagues.
Your Responsibilities
In the role of legal advisor, you will have many contacts, both internally within the agency and with external actors. The tasks are varied and cover many different areas of law, such as administrative law, public access and confidentiality, data protection, procurement law, anti-corruption, and contract law.
The legal advisor plays a central role in the agency's internal work. You will work both operationally and strategically and are expected to independently handle cases and make decisions. The role includes being responsible for documentation and proposing updates and implementation of governing and supporting documents. You will develop routines and working methods, prepare regulations, and, if necessary, strategic and principled positions that the agency takes.
Other examples of tasks include preparing consultation responses, conducting legal investigations, assisting in supervisory matters, acting as a representative in court processes, and providing advice and support to other employees at the agency. Whistleblower cases and personnel responsibility committees may also be part of the tasks.
Qualifications
We are looking for someone who has:
- a law degree (jur.kand. or equivalent)
- several years of practical experience working with administrative law in the public sector, particularly with issues related to administrative law and public access and confidentiality
- very good knowledge of Swedish and good knowledge of English, both orally and in writing.
It is an advantage if you have:
- experience working within a government agency
- experience in developing internal governing documents
- experience working with agency regulations
- experience working with data protection issues
- knowledge of public procurement in theory and practice
- practical experience in contract drafting and negotiations
- notarial qualification from a general court or administrative court.
Your Qualities
You are professional and have the ability to translate knowledge and experience into requested deliverables. You have a very good ability to explain and provide advice on legal issues in a simple manner, both orally and in writing. You are customer-focused as you prioritize service and interaction. With commitment, you take on and drive the work forward. You thereby contribute to good collaboration with your colleagues.
We place great emphasis on your personal suitability.
