Our client is a larger international company looking for a senior consultant with experience in internal control. In this role, you will work closely with functions in finance, procurement, sales, and payroll, providing support in control-related matters to the business.

The assignment involves working systematically based on internal frameworks and associated audit processes. The consultant will play a central role in supporting and guiding control owners and ensuring that the internal control work is conducted effectively and according to established guidelines.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure that existing controls are correctly implemented and performed according to documentation, and update and improve these as needed in an advisory role • Participate in the implementation of new internal audit areas • Conduct access reviews of the company's systems • Be responsible for and further develop processes related to internal control

Requirements:

• Solid experience in internal control or financial auditing and internal auditing • Academic degree in finance

Preferred:

• Previous experience as an external auditor
