Business Developer at Svenska kraftnät

As a business developer, you will be part of our socially important and constantly growing organization. Do you want to take on the energy challenge and work towards a brighter Sweden? Welcome with your application.

About the position

Svenska kraftnät is now looking for a senior business developer for one of four divisions; the Network division. Here you will have a central and strategically overarching role in shaping and improving the organization's working methods, processes, and structure. You combine a holistic perspective with a willingness to be operational when needed — and are happy to take responsibility for driving improvement work forward.

As a senior business developer, you will lead larger change initiatives when necessary, support managers and leadership in their change efforts, and contribute to developing culture and behavioral changes within the organization. You have the ability to balance between supportive and governing roles and feel comfortable engaging with senior managers, leaders, and employees at various levels within the organization. You have experience working in a larger organization and are accustomed to handling dialogues at the agency level to create good conditions at the division level.

You will work with:

  • Identifying areas for improvement and inefficiencies within the division and in our interfaces with other divisions
  • Preparing decision-making materials for management, such as strategies and action plans, defining proposals for effect goals and indicators
  • Building effective structures for collaboration and continuous improvements, for example for our processes; Develop and Manage the transmission network

You will also lead the work with the division's portfolio of business projects. You will ensure that the right projects are started, implemented, and followed up effectively and strategically. The portfolio's processes and governance tools have been developed in recent years, and now we are looking for someone who can take portfolio management to the next level.

Examples of tasks within portfolio management:

  • Preparing decision-making and reporting materials for the program and leading meetings with the sub-portfolio council
  • Ensuring that the portfolio is current and accurate by being responsible for the qualification, reporting, and follow-up processes
  • Before new projects, drive and coordinate the preparation work, including new assessments, feasibility checks, and preparing proposals for prioritization for decisions in the portfolio council

Svenska kraftnät is experiencing significant growth and operates in a complex environment with high demands for security, preparedness, and shorter lead times in network expansion. This places great demands on a structured and forward-looking business development effort, including portfolio management, improved processes for needs management, more efficient collaboration with the IT organization, and clear change management for rapid benefit realization.

You will be part of the Network staff, which is responsible for strategy, economic and operational management, business architecture, and portfolio management within the division. Here you will find a good working environment with experienced and driven colleagues who are eager to support each other and collaborate closely. Together, we coordinate cross-divisional issues and create structure and direction for the division's continued development.

We place great importance on your personal qualities.

You also have an academic degree in a relevant field for the position.

Additionally, you have:
