Business Developer at the Swedish Agency for Health and Care Analysis

Do you want to work at an independent analysis agency where engaged employees are the most important resource? The Swedish Agency for Health and Care Analysis is tasked with monitoring and analyzing healthcare, dental care, and social services from a patient, user, and citizen perspective. We are now expanding our operations and looking for a business developer who wants to contribute to the development of our agency.

About the Role

As a business developer, you will have a central role in the agency. You will be placed in the Administration Department, where we have consolidated our operational support. You will work closely with the head of administration as well as other managers and responsible functions within the agency. You will work broadly across the agency and be an important link between the administration department, analysis department, and legal secretariat, the agency's management group, and board. Together with the agency's finance officer, you will be responsible for planning and monitoring the agency's operational plan and budget. You will also work on the agency's annual report and overall operational management. This work includes developing and monitoring indicators and analyzing results and effects of our operations. The role also includes driving and participating in various development initiatives, identifying improvements in the agency's internal processes, and establishing new working methods.

We are looking for someone who has:

• a university degree or other qualifications deemed equivalent by the employer and relevant to the tasks
• at least five years of current, documented, and relevant experience from similar work in a government agency or public sector
• good knowledge of the role and conditions of government agencies in state governance
• experience in analytical and investigative work
• very good knowledge of the Swedish language in both spoken and written form.

Meritorious:

• experience in analyzing and improving business processes with a focus on digitalization
• experience in leading and coordinating development projects

Personal Qualities

You can work independently, strategically, and results-oriented, are proactive and solution-oriented with the ability to understand the agency's conditions and the connection between operational and financial management. You are meticulous and structured with a good ability to coordinate and drive work forward, have very good analytical skills, are flexible, responsive, and have a great ability to collaborate with others. You are used to proposing solutions based on the agency's needs and have an interest and aptitude for working with people from various educational and professional backgrounds. We place great importance on personal qualities.

The position is full-time and is a fixed-term employment for 12 months. Start date by agreement.
