About us

Solna Culture School is a unit within the Culture and Leisure Administration in Solna Municipality.

We offer children and young people high-quality education with artistic and genre diversity. Solna Culture School aims to be a culture school that stands out in the country for its work, both qualitatively, pedagogically, and artistically.

Solna Culture School is located in the heart of Solna with a varied range and great engagement. We are also close to the citizens in the branches with a vibrant operation where approximately 2,700 students attend our courses each week. A large number of concerts and performances are held each term where students get to perform and practice collaborating and delighting their audience.

What does the position entail?

In this role, you will handle regular administrative tasks.

You will, among other things:

• staff the reception
• manage student registration
• handle sickness and absence notifications as well as booking substitutes
• purchase materials for the office
• manage keys and mail
• work with marketing, social media
• possibly invoice.

The work is conducted on-site at the culture school, Blomgatan 3. You will work two days a week, with some evening and weekend work occurring.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for someone who has

• experience in administrative work within the child and education sector
• good digital skills (e.g., in Office and Adobe)
• very good ability to express yourself well, both verbally and in writing, in Swedish
• good ability to express yourself well, both verbally and in writing, in English.

We consider it an advantage if you have:

• experience in communication for web and social media
• experience in marketing and design
• knowledge of payroll systems and invoicing systems.

We are looking for someone who is flexible and enjoys working in a school environment with varied tasks. You are solution-oriented and work in a structured manner, combining organizational skills with creative drive. You have good collaboration skills and find it easy to build good relationships, and you are motivated and engaged by contributing to a positive culture in the workplace.
