Experienced Consultant Needed for Logistics Partner Implementation

We at SJR are looking for an experienced and driven consultant who wants to play a key role in the implementation of an already appointed logistics partner. The assignment involves leading and coordinating the work when a new logistics partner and logistics solution are to be implemented – from process design to full operation. You will be a central part of the team. The assignment is for those who want to work as an employed consultant and starts from March 9 to September 30 with our client in Solna.

About the Position

In this role, you will take overall responsibility to ensure a smooth and efficient transition to a new logistics solution. You will lead the project from planning and requirement specification to implementation and follow-up. The assignment encompasses both strategic and operational tasks and involves close collaboration with several functions within the organization. The goal is to create a modern and functioning logistics solution where processes, system integrations, and responsibilities are clearly defined and fully implemented.

Responsibilities

As a consultant, you will:

• Lead and coordinate the implementation project for the new logistics partner.
• Define processes for various logistics scenarios and ensure that roles and responsibilities are clarified.
• Specify requirements, follow up, and quality assure the work with system integrations.
• Support the business in both strategic and operational logistics issues.
• Manage asset management – including tracking, maintenance, warranty issues, and proper handling of assets.
• Work with business development and process improvements within the team.
• Ensure that the new logistics solution goes live as planned and operates stably.

Suitable Background

We are looking for someone who has:

• Documented experience in project management within logistics, supply chain, or distribution.
• Experience in implementing a new logistics partner or logistics solution.
• Good understanding of logistics flows, warehouse processes, and WMS solutions.
• Familiarity with asset management, including daily logistics activities and asset handling.
• Experience with system integrations within logistics.
• A background in business development and process improvements.
• The ability to combine operational work with strategic perspectives.
• Experience working cross-functionally with multiple internal stakeholders.
• Desirable; Experience from the energy sector, electricity trading, or solar energy industry.
