We are currently seeking an accounting assistant for an 18-month temporary position with an established organization in central Stockholm. With our client, you will be part of an engaged finance team and have an independent role with significant responsibility.

Responsibilities:

This is a broad and responsible accounts receivable role in an organization with multiple business branches and various revenue streams. You will be responsible for ensuring that accounts receivable functions efficiently and accurately, from invoicing to follow-up and reconciliation.

• Overall responsibility for accounts receivable and customer invoicing
• Management of both automated and manual invoicing flows
• Bank postings and ongoing reconciliations
• Certain accounting entries
• Responsibility for related administrative tasks associated with affiliated businesses
• Internal contact person for inquiries related to customer invoicing

The environment is complex with several different working methods and flows, which requires structure, accuracy, and the ability to see the big picture. The role also involves driving your work independently and taking responsibility for ensuring that inquiries are followed up and handled.

Your Background:

We are looking for someone who:

• Has a post-secondary education in finance
• Has experience as an accounting assistant, preferably with responsibility for accounts receivable
• Has good knowledge of Excel and is accustomed to working in business systems
• Communicates fluently in Swedish, both spoken and written
