Financial Manager Wanted for the Swedish Naval Reserve Association!

We have an exciting and complex operation that needs its meticulous accountant.

Our current star is considering retirement, so we want to bring in a colleague in good time to work alongside her during a transition period.

Workplace Description

The Swedish Naval Reserve is one of 18 voluntary defense organizations governed by a regulation. The Swedish Naval Reserve Association consists of 14 local units with a membership of over 4,000. The Swedish Naval Reserve receives assignments from the Armed Forces (FM) and from the Civil Defense Agency (MCF). In addition, we enter into agreements with various authorities.

Job Description

The Financial Manager will be responsible for coordinating the financial management. The position reports to the Secretary General. Responsibilities range from paying invoices to preparing final accounts, administering salaries, and providing documentation for financial decisions. Since we are a small office, we are also prepared to help each other with everything.

Qualifications

You have extensive experience working with financial issues in a smaller company or organization.

You should be well acquainted with working in accounting and bookkeeping systems.

You have significant experience using Microsoft products. You can create budgets and monthly financial analyses and reports. Experience in the defense sector or with governmental oversight or voluntary defense organizations' financial operations is an advantage.

As a person, you are service-oriented, stress-resistant, meticulous, and accustomed to working independently. Great emphasis will be placed on personal qualities (we have fun at work).
