Lawyer for Authority with Focus on Legal Security
Do you want to work broadly with qualified law in a governmental environment where legal security, ethics, and good governance are at the center? We are looking for a lawyer who wants to contribute to strengthening our internal legal support and create good conditions for an effective and well-functioning operation.
About the Job
In this role, you will work with internal legal advice and support focusing on administrative law, transparency and confidentiality, data protection, procurement, and labor law. You will also serve as legal support to the authority's management. You are responsible for establishing, revising, and quality-assuring various types of governing documents and play an important role in developing and ensuring uniform legal application within the authority.
The work also includes responding to referrals and, if necessary, preparing opinions for the Parliamentary Ombudsman and the Chancellor of Justice. You will participate in working groups and various internal collaboration forums where you contribute your legal expertise. The role involves close collaboration with both the operations and other support functions, as well as contacts with external actors on relevant legal issues.
You will also conduct training and information initiatives on legal matters and contribute to raising internal knowledge and awareness in the area.
Your Education and Experience
We are looking for someone who
- has excellent knowledge of Swedish and English in both spoken and written form
- holds a law degree (jur.kand.)
- has completed a legal traineeship
- has good knowledge of administrative law, including transparency and confidentiality
- has solid experience of qualified legal work from a government authority.
It is meritorious if you
- have an interest in and knowledge of the financial sector
- have experience working with data protection regulations
- have experience from the Government Offices or courts.
