Web Analyst at the Swedish Pensions Agency

We are looking for you to take on the role of web analyst for the Swedish Pensions Agency. You will ensure the agency's ability to produce web statistics. But you will also help us use it better in evaluations and decisions regarding the agency's customer channels, self-service offerings, and information initiatives.

The Communications Department is responsible for communication and digital customer experience at the agency. Over 50 employees work in the department, distributed across four units, including the unit for digital customer experience. Digital strategists, web strategists, Business Owners, Product Owners, business developers, UX designers, search specialists, etc., are responsible for the development and optimization of pensionsmyndigheten.se, Orange envelope (digital and postal), efterlevandeguiden.se, and collaboration with Min Pension.

About the Job

The main task will be to regularly follow up on how our digital customer channels with information pages, digital self-service offerings, and campaigns reach and are used, both to provide valuable input for ongoing improvements and to initiate new development. Your tasks will include, for example:

  • Handling requests for web statistics;
  • Identifying relevant indicators for desired effects;
  • Compiling and visualizing indicators in the form of reports, presentations, scorecards, dashboards, etc.
  • Contributing to data and indicator analysis in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders such as digital communicators, campaign managers, web and communication strategists, Product Owners, search engine optimizers, digital analysts for MinPension.se, the agency's analysis department, etc.
  • Presenting reports and insights in various forums at the Swedish Pensions Agency.

Your expertise will also be needed to build our capabilities in web analytics, for example, by:

  • Supporting the organization in procuring and implementing a new web statistics tool;
  • Supporting the organization in operating and managing the web statistics tool;
  • Clarifying working methods and processes for, e.g., ordering, tracking/tagging, reporting, visualization, etc.
  • Showing stakeholders how they can more independently retrieve certain data from the web statistics tool and analyze it.

Since the Swedish Pensions Agency has high ambitions to work more data-driven, we would also like the web analyst to explore how they can enhance their skills and how we can improve our measurement and analysis capabilities through, e.g., collaboration with the analysis department, use of AI, introduction of A/B testing, focusing more on funnels/customer flows, cross-referencing data from various sources, etc. Some of your tasks you will be able to perform independently. Others you will best solve as part of our business development teams.

Your Profile

For this role, you need to have:

  • At least three years of experience as a web analyst.
  • Responsible for web analytics for a website with at least one million visitors per year.

  • Experience in procuring and implementing web analytics tools, requiring an interest in the technical aspects as well.
  • Experience in creating reports, giving presentations, and knowledge transfer.

It is advantageous if you have:

  • Experience from the public sector.
  • Worked in a complex organization with many different stakeholders.
  • A degree and/or certification in web analytics.

Personal Qualities

As a person, you are good at communication - listening, asking questions, understanding different perspectives, providing feedback, and conveying important information. You also have good collaboration skills, are unpretentious, and patient, which is crucial in a complex organization with decentralized development responsibilities.
