Most resources aimed at children and youth have been gathered under one committee. There you will find preschool, primary school, adapted primary school, and also individual and family care. Are you our new Spanish teacher?

We are looking for two licensed Spanish teachers for Lorensberg School 7-9

The workplace

Lorensberg School is a dynamic middle school with about 430 students and a staff of about 60 dedicated employees. We are proud of our diversity, where both staff and students have roots from all corners of the world, enriching our everyday life and creating an international atmosphere.

Job responsibilities

As our new Spanish teacher, you will be a key person in awakening students' language enthusiasm through creative and inspiring teaching. We are looking for someone who, with great personal commitment, wants to develop pedagogy together with a driven team. Here you will have the space to realize your own ideas in an environment where team spirit and collaboration are central to students' success.

  • Teaching: You plan, implement, and evaluate teaching for grades 7–9 in accordance with applicable governing documents.
  • Pedagogical development: You are a driving force in creating and developing successful learning environments together with other staff.
  • Collaboration: Together with your team, you are responsible for planning, execution, and documentation of students' learning.
  • Mentorship: You have an important role as a mentor, where you follow and support a number of students' academic and social development.

Qualifications

  • Have a teaching license and subject competence: Have experience in primary school activities and a strong interest in continued professional development.
  • Are a confident leader: You exercise clear leadership in the classroom with a focus on structure, clear goals, and visible results.

  • Have good conflict management skills: You work proactively to prevent conflicts and have the ability to resolve them in a constructive and professional manner.
  • Are attentive and flexible: You are responsive to students' individual needs and have the ability to adapt your teaching and approach according to the situation.
  • Are meticulous and engaged: You are structured in your work and genuinely enjoy and find it stimulating to work with adolescents in middle school age.
