Are you our new Home Economics Teacher?

We are looking for a certified home economics teacher for Lorensberg School 7-9.

Workplace

Lorensberg School is a dynamic middle school with about 430 students and a staff of approximately 60 dedicated employees. We take pride in our diversity, where both staff and students have roots from all corners of the world, enriching our daily life and creating an international atmosphere.

Job Responsibilities

  • Teaching: You plan, implement, and evaluate teaching for grades 7-9 in accordance with applicable governing documents.
  • Pedagogical Development: You are a driving force in creating and developing successful learning environments together with other staff.
  • Collaboration: Together with your team, you are responsible for planning, executing, and documenting students' learning.
  • Mentorship: You have an important role as a mentor, where you follow and support a number of students' academic and social development.

Your motivation is to provide young people with the tools for a healthy lifestyle and a critical view of today's consumer society. You combine deep subject knowledge with the ability to build the relationships necessary for a safe and effective work environment in the kitchen.
