In Ludvika, children and youth are important! We demonstrate this by making children and youth the center of our municipal organization. Most resources aimed at children and youth have been gathered under one committee. This includes preschool, primary school, adapted primary school, and also individual and family care. A common thread for all activities is a conscious quality effort to continuously develop and improve our work with children and youth.

We are looking for two licensed Social Studies teachers for Lorensbergaskolan 7-9.

Job Responsibilities

• Teaching: You plan, implement, and evaluate teaching for grades 7-9 in accordance with applicable governing documents.
• Pedagogical Development: You are a driving force in creating and developing successful learning environments together with other staff.
• Collaboration: Together with your team, you are responsible for planning, execution, and documentation of students' learning.
• Mentorship: You play an important role as a mentor, where you follow and support a number of students' academic and social development.

Qualifications

We are looking for a licensed middle school teacher who can passionately navigate between geography, history, religion, and social studies! Are you the engaged leader who makes everything from global conflicts to sustainable development understandable and exciting for our students?
