Court Administrator at Attunda District Court
Attunda District Court is one of the largest district courts in the country, i.e., a general court of first instance. We have approximately 160 employees. The court is a development-oriented workplace with engaged and knowledgeable staff. The court always strives for developed leadership and employee participation. Our goal is for the operations to be characterized by high quality and efficient processing. We want to be a workplace where employees show care for each other and see the court as a whole. The operations are conducted in modern and purpose-built premises at Sollentuna station, only 15 minutes by commuter train from Stockholm Central. The main building has been connected to Sollentuna's landmark, Färgskrapan. In addition to the court's own premises, Färgskrapan houses some of the country's largest courtrooms and high-security rooms available to all courts in Sweden.

The Work Involves
As a court administrator, you are responsible for the preparation and processing of the court's criminal cases, civil cases, and matters. You assist both colleagues and the public with professional and high-quality service. You work closely with all professional categories at the court, such as judges and clerks. The work is varied and your tasks include:
- Managing planning and summons for various court hearings
- Maintaining daily contact with parties, representatives, authorities, and the public via phone and email
- Receiving and registering documents
- Managing correspondence between parties in the court's cases and matters
- Monitoring deadlines
- Writing proposals for various types of decisions and judgments
- Taking minutes at various types of court hearings
- Issuing judgments and decisions
As a court administrator, you often handle several different cases and matters simultaneously. This is often done at a high pace due to the deadlines present in our operations. The work is varied, social, and requires both structure and flexibility.

Your Personal Qualities
Court administrators play a very significant role in enabling the court to fulfill its mission.
As a court administrator, you have many contacts with parties, representatives, the public, and other authorities. It is required that you, through good and professional treatment, can contribute to maintaining and strengthening citizens' trust in the court. Therefore, you are expected to be service-oriented and have excellent collaboration skills. You should also be a team player and contribute to the group's collective work. To succeed in the role, you need to be able to take initiative, start activities, and achieve results. Furthermore, the role requires you to have a well-developed planning ability. At the same time, you need to be very flexible to be able to reprioritize your tasks as needed. The work means that you need to be able to adapt to changing situations and handle them in an enthusiastic and positive manner. Your digital competence needs to be very good as we work with digital tools and our operations are constantly becoming more digitalized. Finally, the role also requires good problem-solving skills. From a holistic perspective and the rules that govern operations, you should be able to analyze the situation and find your own solutions.
Great importance will be placed on personal suitability in the respects mentioned. This also means that you stand up for democratic values and act in accordance with the state value framework that governs the operations of Sweden's courts. We also require that you follow Sweden's laws.
Qualifications
Requirements
- Completed and approved secondary education
- At least two years of experience in administration in the last three years, or other experience deemed relevant by the employer
- Experience in service-oriented work
- High IT maturity
- Very good knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Very good knowledge of spoken and written Swedish
- Speak and understand English
Meritorious
- Experience of administrative work from a court, government agency, or other legal entity
- Post-secondary education deemed relevant by the employer
